Avatar got nominated for Best Picture. Goddammit. I knew it was coming, but still. Oh, well, Thrilled that Inglourious Basterds and District 9 also got in. At least they still know what a good movie is.
If Avatar gets Best Picture....I swear.......I will do something.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but I'd have to disagree with your opinion on Inglorious Basterds and District
9. I've seen both films, however they are much too violent and heavy for my lighthearted
personality. I tend to lean more towards romantic comedies (Julia Roberts is my all-time favorite actress; She's absolutely stunning, in black and white, that is). With regard to Avatar, unfortunately I cannot comment on the film. Since canines aren't exactly allowed in movie theaters, and the film has not yet been released on DVD, I haven't been able to watch it yet. I will, however, get back to you once I've done so.
